REDA from Sheep to Shop Internship Application

This is for applicants who wish to apply to participate in the REDA Sheep to Shop 4-months textile internship
2026.

Timeline

July 2025: Launch of the marketing campaign to promote the project through partners’ social media channel.
Mid-September: Application submission deadline.
Mid-October: First screening results from partners.
End of October: Reda receives the top three candidates from the partner
End of November: Reda selects the final best candidate
Mid-February: kick-off of the project (Teams meeting with REDA)
Beginning of April: Model 0 starts in South Africa
Mid-April: Arrival in Italy
End of July: End of the project

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible to apply to participate in the REDA internship:
Applicants must have a strong passion for the wool industry as well as the desire to become ambassadors for
the wool industry in their country and/or enter in the wool industry.
Applicants must have an innovative approach and a specific interest in sustainability topics.
Possess a high level of curiosity and a strong desire to learn.
Any individual, aged between 18 and 30 years, who is currently (or aspiring to be) working in the
Wool Industry
Be university students or have completed university studies no more than 12 months before the start of the
internship period.
Hold a valid driver's license.

In addition to the complete application form, you should include the following documentation:

A one-page Letter of Motivation that explain the reason for your application. This statement should focus on
your career goals and how the internship could benefit the wider wool industries.

Stage 1: Apply. Once you have submitted your application, and the application deadline has been reached, a panel of Cape Wools SA representatives will assess all applications (eventually with interviews).
Stage 2: Interviews by REDA. If your application is deemed suitable, you may be shortlisted and will be invited to an interview
