That is the heritage that became Laduma’s inheritance, as he creates Wool and Mohair knitwear pieces with South African stories threaded through each design.
The Buyele’mbo collection reminds of the Xhosa phrase the elders often use when talking about the rural lifestyle, they used to have at the original Xhosa homelands.
Laduma’s creations have been featured on catwalks around the world this season. Top Billing will show us the man behind this fabulously successful label and what makes his wooly hart tick.
