Design Indaba: Cape Wools

Cape Wools SA is a non-profit organisation that promotes the production, trade and consumption of South African Merino wool. Its mission is to support SA's wool industry with research, development, promotion and market intelligence. This is achieved through progressive, independent and transparent projects, that respect different role-players. Cape Wools SA is run by an elected Board of Directors, which represent various groups affiliated to the Wool Forum.

Together with international partners like the International Wool Textile Organisation (IWTO), Cape Wools SA aims to cultivate a sustainable, world-class wool industry by promoting the use of Merino wool in South Africa and supporting the designers and artists who work with this fibre.
