Pecan farmer Bob Roux speaks about how technology and the internet has drastically changed the way farmers operate in the Karoo.

The technological changes that have happened since 1996 have been astounding and Bob can today use his phone to activate his irrigation systems, whereas in the past his dad had to drive 45km on a dirt road just to to read a fax.
