Our MissionCape Wools SA is a Section 21 service company and the executive arm of the Wool Industry Forum of South Africa. Our mission is to provide services in support of the development of a viable, competitive and sustainable future for the South African wool industry. Strategies & Functions- To provide a framework and infrastructure for regular debates on wool industry problems and opportunities.
- To promote a culture of inclusive participation by all wool industry stake-holders in Forum activities.
- To liaise with Government and other bodies on matters of mutual concern, as identified by the Forum.
- To provide support for growth and development in the wool industry through appropriate research and development projects and the funding of training and capacity development programmes.
- To provide independent and objective information and statistics on and for all industry stake-holders.
- To promote South African wool to textile markets through, amongst others, the facilitation of appropriate supply chain interactions.
